Thanks to all (especially Joe Curry),
Finally got the alt. mounted, wired up, and working! The friendly
mechanic down town who drew up a wiring diagram for me drew it up wrong.
As soon as i tried to start the car i blew the volt. regulator. This has
been the problem since then. I checked out the wiring diagram in a
Chiltons manual for a 78 Ford Fiesta and worked it out myself. After i
had looked at the Chiltons manual the wiring was fairly easy.....
Finding out the new volt. regulator was bad took awhile.
