Kevin,

I'm looking in the July '98 edition of the TSSC Courier, and the
Prestige ad states the current price for the MK 1-3 as 219.95 pounds sterling.
For the MK 4-1500 the price is 229.95 pounds sterling. These are the Mohair
prices. They also have another canvas type called Duck. Prices for these are
80 pounds sterling less per model.

Pounds sterling "roughly" exchange at $1.50, so figure @ $345 for the Mk 4-1500
Mohair, plus shipping. Their number , from the states, is 011-44-151-608-8683.
Call early in the morning as they are 8 hours ahead of us on the west coast.

Hi Chris,

Just curious, how much was it, and where did you order it from? I plan to
replace the top (nasty cheap vinyl thing) on my Spit over the winter. I love
the idea of all the hardware already being in place.

Thanks for any info!

I usually start off shows with the top up just so folks can admire it, before
giving them a taste of my ultra cool Hawaiian Koa wood dash as it sparkles and
dances in the sun.

and the mohair, but the Mohair has a light tan material bonded to the inside.
All Prestige tops come with fasteners already installed to factory specs...at
least as factory as Coventry exemplified. On my Spit, the original top
actually fastened to the cross bars in the frame...5 snaps across the forward
bar, 4 across the back. On the Prestige, both of these areas come as full
wrap
style...four snaps each and fastening to the other side of the wrap.

an additional weeks wait. Price, even with shipping was cheaper than here in
the states.
