Good thought, Andy.  Thanks.

I do think, however, that the 48 and 60 spoke wheels do come in the same width
across the rim.  One of my friends had a 48 spoke spare (retrofitted by a DPO)
on his TR4.  The other rims were 60's and the tires were 165/15's all around.
He now has all 60 spoke rims and the spare tire from the 48 spoke rim went
right onto the new (60 spoke) spare rim with no problem.
