Roger,

try this next time....  

Take a spare head stud,   grind a suitable slot in one end to fit the end
of the oil pump shaft.   Remove the spur gear that runs off the camshaft to
access this.  Grind the other end a bit so as to fit on your binford 6100
series electric drill.   Spin in reverse.  Watch 90 psi on the gauge
develop almost immediately.  Beware,  oil WILL rise up and attempt to exit
the block via the open hole.
