It covers the whole restoration, but there are some good pictures.
You're doing the rockers, as long as the lower inner part of the floor pans
are intact, you should be able to cut away the bad material and then piece
in whatever you need from the new panels. If you decide (or need) to replace
the entire outer sill, make sure that the floor panel is all there... other
wise, you will need to replace the floor too.
Although the TR6 Restoratiob book does not show floor panel replacement per
se, it shows how everything goes together. If you are planning an "in place"
floor panel replacement, do one side at a time, take your time and measure
everything. Twice _before_ you start taking everything apart. Most folks
tack in some braces around the door gaps so that you don't loose the
dimensions when you cut the floors out. As you may have ascertained, the
floors and outer sills provide a lot of the structural integrity of a TR6 body.
And don't forget to find someone nearby that can act as helper/consultant
for doing this job. This is not a simple job by any stretch of the imagination.
