Peter the combined weight of both will be about 4000 pounds, the trailer
weighs about 2000. I had to get a class 3 hitch at Uhaul to be able to pull
an auto transport with my 8 cyl Explorer, they would not rent if it had the
class 2 rated at 3500 pounds.  The weight on you hitch alone will bottom out
your shocks.
