TR6 motor mounts

It is time to reinstall the motor into my TR6, but a new question has come
up.  Since the flexible mounts have two elongated holes that are angled
(where they mount to the frame) which direction should they be facing when
they are on the motor; with the elongated holes pointing down or up?  TIA.
