Yes, they OUGHT to be very helpful. In PA, I am just amazed everytime
I try to contact a state office. I know I shouldn't be.... Usually
I can't even get the phone to ring, just busy even on auto dial.....
ALL DAY!!!!!!!! The other most common event is a ring but no answer.
Sometimes I get a human being, and they are as mystified as me, and
totally useless. Once in a while, and it keeps my faith in humanity,
I get somebody knowledgeable and helpful, and between us we get the
problem solved!
Yes, it is best to try DMV first!
