I'm older than my cars. I remember looking at a relatively new TR250 my
friend had and drooling. Wishing then that I could afford one. Wish I
knew then what I know now.

TR6
with my own money when I turned 19, as I had been working for a
(unionized)
A&P store since before I was 16. I knew what I wanted, even then! (Of
course, if I had known then what I know today, I probably could've
bought an
early-series TR6 with all options (o/d, 3 tops, etc) for less, or
(perish
the thought) some other then-undesirable, now valuable classic. Still, I
