The company that supplies the kit is ConversionComp in NZ.  And you're
right, it uses a Toyota Supra gearbox.  http://www.conversioncomp.co.nz/

They're a pleasant and prompt people, I believe I was in contact with a
fellow named Chris when I was considering a gearbox swap for my MGB.

As for the power that would be acceptable for the Supra gearbox, I don't see
why not.  Stock supra puts out 190hp??? (aroundabouts) and the next model up
puts out quite a bit more.
