My wife complains of the same thing, and given the number of persons I've
encountered over the past few years looking for working seat belts, I tell
her she should be glad they do! JD

        Cliff:

I have a '76 TR6 and the inertia mechanism on my seat belts is so
sensitive that I often have trouble getting the belt out of the reel
if
I am parked on any kind of grade.

How does one verify if your seat belts on a TR6 will
        work in a crash
situation? on most cars you simply give the belt a
quick
        tug and it
locks. My TR6 belts don't lock when I do this and I
        can't believe I just
realized this. They adjust and come out of the
spoolers
        just fine? TIA
                        Cliff
                        73 TR6
