As a UK resident and a Triumph owner I plead guilty.
I live more or less in the middle of England and drive
10 miles to work in a medium size city.
On that journey I would be suprised to see any Triumph
except perhaps a Spitfire but would probably see around
4 MGBs (usualy rubber bumper) and a Midget.
I am sorry to say that my own cars only come out to go
road rallying, long distance events (eg Euro Classic) or down
to the pub on a summers evening.
Where I work there is a Stag and a couple of MGBs used as
daily drivers all year round but I think that the general trend
in UK is to only use the cars to go to meetings etc.
I am sure other UK list members will have different views!
BTW I pay 150 USD for insurance on the Spit which is unlimited
milage and agreed value, but must not be the primary car.
