I'm going to guess that 99% of us drive our Triumphs less than 6000 miles
per year so I'm wondering what the oil change frequency is? I do about 5000
miles a year, with 95% being between April and December. Winter driving
(Dec - Apr) is left up to the New England weather and the road salt Gods. My
habit has been to change the oil and filter on the first of every quarter
(Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1 & Oct 1). Why? It's easy to remember and it gets me
under the car 4 times a year to "check" things out. Now I'm wondering if
this is overkill. With relatively little driving from Oct - Apr, maybe I
only need to do it 3 times a year: Apr 1 to start the season, Jul 1 and then
Oct 1 to finish the driving year. What do all you listers do?
