An experiment with a new service did not go well, so I have been out
of touch for a few weeks. Wanted to say hello.
The Weenie, 60 TR3 that he is, spun a fan blade off the other day,
damaged the radiator, hoses and the front apron. Took it all apart
and replaced the above, except the apron. I got it back together last
weekend, but lost the horn. Working on that now. (OK I did'nt
physically LOOSE the horn, just the electrical to it). I got a plan
though, and will try it this weekend. As for the damaged front apron,
the paint cracked where it hit, and it was small enough, I just bought
a little racing sticker to place over it. It will do until I ever get
the money to repaint, etc. Looks kinda cool, though with that sticker
there.
Actually, I sort of did the same thing with a front fender that was
left after restoration with a little paint problem. Stuck a union
jack over it. I'm running out of appropriate stickers if I damage any
more, so if you see a green TR3 with NASCAR decals on it, it'll be me.
