"I agree with Tony, this is not a hoax. In addition to replicating
itself by mailing to everyone in your address book, it modifies your
system and tries to communicate information back to it's originator

details."

We had a client that forwarded this virus to us (unwittingly, of
course) and then in short order he realized what had happened and
called us in a panic. But, that's another great thing about owning a
Macintosh. Sure, there are Mac viruses and worms around, but not
very many. When I get an .exe file, I throw it in the trash right
away simply because Macs don't use .exe files to begin with. That's
like having built-in virus protection right there!!

At any rate, it's definitely NOT a hoax. And besides not OPENING any
.exe files, how 'bout if folks stop SENDING .exe files to every Tom,
Dick and Harry on their forwarding list!!??

Of course, you COULD just get a Mac, fer cryin' out loud! ;^)
