The Opinions following only relate to the U.S.

Well if they tied Rover cars and Land Rovers together they would have a
good name recognition.  The problem with any british name in the states 
is the reliability reputation.  Lets face it the states believes that
any 
british car will break down when you look at it wrong.  That being said 
the most known brit name that BMW owns is MG. However if they used MG
the
would need a sports car to lead the charge.
