Does anyone have an opinion on whether or not I can use passenger car
rated
tires on my boat trailer? I am getting mixed answers from local suppliers.
I would have thought that the "load rating" would be the only concern, but
the feedback I have gotten here refers to the tread pattern. The "trailer
people" insist that passenger tires will not "track" correctly and make the
trailer "unbearable" to pull.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Do I need to give more
information for you to answer this?
