John,

There are lots of places depending on where in the Bay area you are.  You
could try Eric Gauthier of Brown's Lane Motors in Redwood City, (650)
365-3898.  There's also a guy in Fremont but I have that info in the
office - let me know if that's more convienient.  Of course there's always
the Bennett Brothers in Palo Alto, I've never been to them but I hear good
things.  These are all shops that work on vintage British cars, not
necessarily race prep shops.
