Initially, I think I'd go for the 'junkyard' cable option and a home-brewed 
bracket. As I
don't have a cack-handed injection/carb TR or parts book for the same to 
compare the
linkages, possibly foot in mouth here? Important thing (sort of) is to remember 
the cold
start is a dual cable. One cable to the M/U and the other to the cam on the 
butterflies.
Latter however isn't obsolutely crucial unless you're a stickler for the 
original look.
Rimmers sell the dual cable set-up but the control knob isn't removable (at 
least, mine
wasn't)
