You are doing the right thing. I can't tell you how many folks I have
tried to talk into joining our local club BEFORE they buy. Not only do you
enjoy the benefits of their wisdom but also some cars come available with
in the network before being offered for sale to the rest of the world. (I
bought two cars from club members myself.) I have even had resistance from
car owners because their cars were not running (I can't think of a better
way to get over technical difficulties than to confer with fellow owners).
So welcome to the list and don't be afraid to ask for advice.
Unfortunately, I can not help you much in selecting a GT6 since I have had
little experience with them but there are plenty of folks here who know
them intimately and are more than happy to help/advise.
