www.wilsonmotorco.com (in Washington MO) shows a red TR6 with "factory air
conditioning". I guess the car has been modified and the salesman is a bit
too young to realise that REAL sports cars came off the line without all
today's creature comforts.

Perhaps it is time for a word or two about Wilson Motors. Perhaps you
don't recall back in the late 70's Dennis Wilson (now proprietor of Wilson
Motors) campaigned a TR6 nationwide and was quite competitive. In 1980 he
went head-to-head with the then new Porsche 924 factory team and lead
thruout the race until a thread separation caused him to loose first and
settle for second.
The fact that a privately owned TR6, an old design at that time, showed so
well against the latest and greatest put forth by the Poesche factory team
is a testement to not just the timelessness of the TR6 but also to the
efforts and knowledge of Dennis Wilson. To say he is too young to know
"real sports cars" is, quite frankly, an injustice.

BTW, a factory TR7 took third.
