>15 year old header on TR6 looks pretty bad. The hi temp sprays from auto
parts stores don't last very long.

Thinking of blasting and then coating with Westwood brush-on High Temp
Coating
before putting it back on. Anyone had experience with this product or can
recommend something else?

Nelson,

For about $45 (us) Road Toys will aluminum coat it. The aluminum coating
will last forever. A frind of mine had his Austin Healey manifolds coated
about ten years ago and except where oil had leaked onto it and turned
black they look the same as the day he put them on.

The down side is they usually take four to six weeks.

Let me know if you want to know more.
