CAMSHAFT

I have been hearing  tappet noise; i tried adjusting; but i have one  valve
that is not opening all the way.  I was told i have a bad camshaft and it is
also the reason the car runs rich. Before i go to the cleaners anybody have
any guesstamits  on whats a fair price for replacing the camshaft.
