I put the Country shocks on the front of my '76 TR6 prior to my frame off.
They work fine - mine are hydraulic shocks of stock specs. I've been told
by several vendors that these Country shocks are produced by the Rover Group
in the UK. While I can't confirm this, the box did say something to the
effect of "produced in the U.K.". As they were new, I will continue to use
them after the rebuild. Others have put gas shocks on their TR6's for a
more-modern-car-like-ride. It's personal preference.
