Eric, on my very late 76 TR6 I used a couple of SS allen head bolts to fit
my ignition housing. M8-20, 3/4" long. Others have said they used 5/16 UNF
but that did not match my car. I did have to file down the bolt heads so
they would fit into the recesses in the housing, initially the bolt head
diameter was to large for the recess. I think if you tried hex head bolts
it'd be hard to find a socket to fit inside the housing.
