I'm still trying to figure out why it costs so much to ship from Rimmer in
Lincolnshire...My average cost is over $100.(US) to NJ, USA
I dread finding out what shipping will be for the complete interior for my
Herald plus the Carpet set I need...
Rimmer reps have told me they are willing to ship via my choice of carriers
provided I arrange it. Otherwise, they ship UPS.(DHL was cheaper I recall,
especially when UPS was on strike)
However, despite the exorbitant UPS rates, the parts are usually quite
decent, and worth the investment.
(I once priced a 20lb package from here to Australia, roughly 12" square, US
Postal Service was a good $100.00 cheaper for express than UPS for lowest
rate service!)
