The copyrights went to Rover then to BMW.  BMW renewed copyrights and 
trademarks on a number of things.  After the latest sale, some stayed 
with BMW, some went to Ford, and some to Pheonix.

But I doubt of any of them are concerned about noncomercial use of 
documents that have not been published in over 25 years.  These guys are 
in the market to sell new cars not parts or manuals for old cars.
