Yesterday the annual WPTA Tune Up Clinic was held at one of the members
businesses and a good time was had by all. This is at least the 21st year
that WPTA has hosted the event as I've been going since 1980 and only missed
a few years when kids were growing. Lots of work was accomplished by many of
the members. Ed Woods who I know that many you know or recognize helped one
member change out a gearbox with an O/D Unit that Ed had rebuilt for him
several years ago. Others got oil changes, brake work, general maintenance
and of course the always necessary tune up.
TRF always supports us well and this year was no exception. They showed up
with a nice assortment of small tune up type parts, oil filters and special
orders placed by members who needed that certain item for Saturday.
This traditional event starts off the year of activities for a very active
group who know how to have fun and enjoy their British cars.
