There is no pressure regulator per se. The carb's floats open and close the
needle valves to keep the float chamber full. The pump only develops 2-3
psi. Pressure is not critical as long as flow is sufficient keep it from
running out. PI uses a pressure regulator so that fuel delivered is only a
simple funtion of time instead of complex funtion of time and pressure.

I was wondering what controls the fuel pressure on a TR6 with carbs.
Looking at the fuel system, I do not see any pressure control device. Do
the flow valves in the fuel pump control/limit the pressure?
The manual says the pressure is to be 1.5 to 2.5 PSI. Any suggestions on a
gauge to measure this small pressure?
