    OK.

Thanks to everybody who've been a great help over the last few days.
I was able to clean up the carb bowls so now the car runs on it's own with
little choke, and starting no longer neccessitates the "Quick Start". I might
do the top of the carbs tommorrow.

I did manage to get the clutch MC and installed and bled today.
Unfortunately upon testing the clutch still didn't dissengage from the
flywheel. There was pressure but not a whole lot. My first question for this
step: Is this because the slave is shot (Out of money and hoping not the
problem), or is it as somebody said that the Pressure plate can sometimes
seize onto the contact patch of the others (hoping it is and just needs to be
broken loose). What do I need to do, and how much is it gonna cost me? Is
there another possable problem?

There is this dinging sound coming from the front of the motor
somewhere. It sounds like a chain or spring banging on metal. Is there a cam
gear in the block to run the fuel pump, and rotor? Does this get loose, and
if it does, can it damage anything or throw of timing, spark? Suggestions
where to look?

The next question is a little more superficial but funner. What
Colour (Color fer ya 'Muricans) Should it go. I've tried to get ideas here
at home and have expanded the field to Black, Brit Racing Green, Yellow,
orange, Red, White (currently), Midnight blue, Silver....etc. It just gets
bigger every time. My stipulations are that this is not my race car, so
yellow and orange are lower on the list, I live in Canada and am sick of the
snow so white has goto go. Red has been done, BRG is what everybody puts on
their old brit. I'm looking to make this my classy ride so black, Silver,
burgundy, and the dark blue seem to be it. I'm leaning toward silver because
the profile is similar to the old Bond DB7 and would be kinda cool, but I
don't really have interest in silver as a colour. I would like to hear
suggestions on anything anyone thinks about colours.

                                            Pete.
