Nonsense.  They were built in a factory.  Well, at least two factories.  But
they were delivered by dealers to customers fully-assembled.  There may have
been kits sold, but I have never heard of any.

First, it is increasingly difficult to build a Cobra kit for $10,000.

Second, the car you build will not be a Cobra.  For one thing, Cobra bodies
are made of aluminum, and virtually all Cobra kits are fiberglas.
