Darrell,
My first suspicion is the fuel pump.  My second suspicion would be the
needle valves in the carb float bowls.  An RMTC club member recently had the
same problem you mention (1 1/2 gallons of fuel and oil in the sump).  Turns
out, his Grose Jet on the front carb decided to stick open.  He never
mentioned whether it was due to debris or something else, but he switched
them out, and he hasn't had the same problem.
