Listers,
I have a question for the collective list wisdom. Has anyone out there who
has done an electric fan conversion to a TR 3-6 used an electric
thermostatic switch in lieu of the capillary style that goes into the top
hose? If you have can you provide me with an OEM model and year that I can
reference at the part stores? Also do you know what the on and off
temperatures are rated at? I am running a 160 thermostat and would like to
switch the fan on at about 190 and off at about 170. Do you know what pipe
thread it uses? I also would like to stay with US rather than metric as it
will be easier to obtain an adapter to solder into the radiator tank..
Please response directly to jerryvv@att.net as I am on the digest mode. A
copy to the list for everyone to see would be appreciated too so we can all
benefit from the collective knowledge of the list.
Thanks in advance.
