Odd that you should mention this. I just today, saw an early TR3 in a junk
yard with no taper at the drum end of the spline. There are no wheels with
this car but all four corners are the same. In addition there is a small stud
which protrudes through the drum and looks like it might fit some kind of a
"pin drive" wheel.
Other than no taper and the pin these look just like any other wire wheel
hubs.
Any ideas? Is this the same thing that requires a collar of some kind?
