I always use a very small drill bit to just scrape inside of connectors.
Plus I squirt in a little WD-40.

hello list~!

I have just aquired a 74 TR6 that was sitting for 22+ years and i want to
clean all the crud and green stuff from the connections so it will again
live..I can clean the male parts no problem with wire brushes and sort, but
how do you clean the inside of a female type spade connector? Any solvents
or
cleaning methods you can recommend? Thanks in advance for the help, this
list
is worth its weight in gold!
