I have a bunch of new rubber window seals that I bought about 4 years ago and
finally want to install. Over the years they have formed a sort of "flaky scum"
all over. It can be rubbed off with much labor. Any ideas what this stuff is
and an easy way to remove it? Thanks in advance for help from the good folks on
the list.
