Thread-topic: Convex Mirrors
My TR4 had those tiny flat side mirrors way up front above the tires...I
always thought they were cute, but totally useless, since the area they
reflected that I could see was about teh size of a basketball...the
blind spot was 95% of the entire road, and the view was so pencil thin
that it was very difficult to figure out what you were even looking
at....

Leafing through the moss catalog (NFI), looking for new mirrors (b/c the
chrome on the old ones wasnt great) I saw "convex mirrors"...both LH and
RH (and they dont have the silly "objects in mirror..." statement on
them!)...

Just installed them (even I can do this one)...WOW, what a difference...
these mirrors are not a bit convex, they are REALLY convex- evertyhgin
looks funhousey and distorted...but you can see the entire road behind
you! Its fantastic! Its better visibility than my normal truck...didnt
take as long as I thought to adjust the depth perception in my mind,
either...

Thought Id share my cool find

Noah
