I have been watching TR's on E-bay for a while now, but I guess I still
don't understand all aspects of the game. There was a car on there I am
interested in, so I wrote the seller and asked him a couple of questions. I
get a response >24 hours later saying the the car is sold. That was
yesterday. There are still people bidding on the car, and the auction is
still scheduled to run a couple more days. What gives? Could the fact I
asked for his phone number have spooked him? If so, I don't think I want to
do business with him anyhow? Or maybe it was that I told him I might be
interested in inspecting the car? Was there any reason not to ask these
questions?
