HELP removing oil seal sleeve x-mac-creator="4D4F5353"

Would someone please tell me how to remove the oil seal sleeve that sits
on the front end of the crankshaft?  It's on page 154 of the Bentley
manual and identified as item number 18. Instructions for removing it
are "remove the sleeve"!@#$#$%^&.

Your help ASAP would be appreciated.
