Hello All,
Just wanted to let everyone know of a good deal I just stumbled into. I
walked into Radio Shack looking for a set of U shaped speaker brackets to
install speakers on the rear shelf area between the roll bar posts in my
TR6. He didn't have any but informed me that Radio Shack is getting out
of the automobile audio business and everything was clearance priced. I
paid $20 for a pair of speakers that normally sell for $79 or $89. I
have one of the narrower roll bars and they just fit between the posts.
They had all sorts of speakers, amps and crossovers for short money.
Specs:
- Optimus four-way bass reflex car speakers
- Cat #12-1713
- Speakers, 4" woofer, 2" midrange, two 1" tweeters
- Magnet, 8 oz
- Power, 50 watts each
- Measurement, wedge shaped, 11.5" wide, 6.5" deep, 5" tall
