There's a wealth of Triumph cam information at
<http://www.kvaleberg.com/t_tune.html#camshaft>, on Egil Kvaleberg's
excellent Triumph 2000 tuning site.
Other than etched part numbers, you're also supposed to be able to tell
which cam you have (or at least what the cam you have started life as, in
the case of a regrind) by looking at the number of rings machined into the
end. 311399 should have 3 rings in the timing gear end.
