the filter vertically, because it hits the clutch slave. When I install it
horizontally, it hits a fitting coming out of the block underneath the oil
pressure switch. Don't know what this fitting is. Any help would be

Peter, Install it vertically but rotate it forward a few degrees to clear
the slave cylinder. That's how mine has been in there these past 12 years.
