That connection gets too hot for Loctite.  Use anti-seize on both sides, and
fresh lock washers under the nuts to keep everything tight until you want it
loose.

I haven't had any trouble with the studs wanting to come out of the manifold
when I undo the nuts, but if you do, peen the ends of the studs lightly.
