Nelson and all:

Thanks for putting the blame where it should lie; in this case on Apple
Hydraulics. I've had DOT 5 in both my TR3 and MGTF since 1990 with no
adverse affects. In addition, I just pour it in; never has an air entrapment
problem or a bleeding problem. Never lost a seal. Never had a soft pedal.
DOT 5 has , IMHO, become a scapegoat for poor materials and/or workmanship.
My brother's TR6 has had silicone fluid since its restoration 12 years ago.
Absolutely no hydraulic problems.
