Bud, IMO the module is irrelevant.  What it does is extend the lockout
protection to the passenger when you have one (and allow the car to be
started without one).  Even though I usually don't wear a belt when I'm
driving, I always put one on when the driver does <g>

The main thing you need are the seat belt sockets that have the contacts to
indicate when the belt is buckled.  They were a US federal requirement in
1974, almost any 1974 car should be able to serve as a donor.

The wiring varies, but is typically much like the lockout on an A-type OD,
the contact on the belt grounds one side of the coil, the start position on
the ignition switch provides power to the other side of the coil.  The
contacts feed power to the starter solenoid.

If you do wire the passenger's seat, the module (which goes under the seat
so it gets pressure when someone sits down) gets wired in parallel with the
belt contacts for that seat, then both of them get wired in series with the
contact for the driver's seat.
