Hey Guys!.....got in on this thread a little late........
An article in Moss Motering.....#2, 1988 had an article on removing and
replacing MG Coil Springs.........(I have a copy of that, and will be glad to
send you one!)....which I used and modified a bit for a TR4A.......Moss
bought my modification and even ran it twice.........so I made a big 60
bucks......but with my fabulous filing system, I cannot find it this
evening.......maybe Moss could send you a copy from their mag.........wasn't
a whole lot different.....just saved a bit of time..........The
Difference?..........doesn't need a spring compressor at all! uses the wt
of your car and you jack to gradually decompress the spring.........if I ever
find my article....I'll put it back on the net......really pretty easy and
safe to do........
