My welding helmet has a number 11 shade which is a little too dark and I am
thinking of getting a number 10, so I think you will be OK.  I use it with a
Lincoln SP135 welder, which is a similar light-duty MIG/Flux Cored welder.
A VERY good welder, by the way!
