Hello Mark, This is what I do. I use aviation gasket sealer. Apply it to one
side of the gasket. And don't be affair to use some of it. Have the valve
cover up side down. Set the gasket on the lip of the cover. Then use masking
tape to secure it in place. Set right side up and put some weight on it. Let
is seat over night. Remove the tape. And you are ready to go. John,
