front tr6 shocks

I emailed KYB to see if they had a shock to fit a TR6;
I was told they don't catalog a shock for the tr6 but he had a note that GR2 #
343134 may work. he said that the lower mounting sleeve may need to be
shortend.
Has anyone used this specific shock? And did it need to be shortened.
