Something I picked recently and have found handy.... Costco has a set of 
'stubby' tools (10 combo wrenches, 5 pliers & 5 screwdrivers) for $15.  
Not Craftsman quality perhaps but the wrenches in particular are handy 
for light work in close quarters (e.g. generator mounts, that nut on the 
end of the stator tube, etc.).
